 1932 Ford Coupe

1932 Ford Coupe

Owner: Wayne Gerst
Location:  Severna Park, MD

Wayne Gerst’s styling of this 1932 Ford Coupe transformed the Model B into the kind of street rod that was so popular in America in the 1940s, 50s, and 60s. Wayne didn’t have to put too much sweat equity into his Ford Coupe, though. He reports the body was in perfect condition when he acquired the car in 2002. But he did put some thought into what it would take to soup this one up for the road. Wayne obtained a remanufactured 350 CI engine, a 671 Blower and two 650 Holleys. “This was the first of seven classic vehicles I’ve had, so it is very special to me,” Wayne says. He drives the ’32 Ford Coupe to classic car shows all year round and in 4th of July parades.
